Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Obstin Technologies, LLC ("Obstin," "we," "us") handles information collected through this website, obstin.co. It covers the website only. Our software products are covered by their own policies; for Tinds, including its web and iOS apps, see the Tinds Privacy Policy. Data that customers enter into our products is handled under those policies and the customer's agreement with us.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use the contact form, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, the product or service you are interested in, and your message. If you email or call us, we receive whatever you include in that email or call, along with your email address or phone number.
Information collected automatically
We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking scripts on this website, and we do not set our own cookies. Like any website, the services that deliver it process technical data when you visit:
- Hosting and security. The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address, browser type, and request details to serve pages, block abuse, and keep the site secure. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies for bot protection. Providers keep these server logs for short periods, generally 30 to 90 days.
- Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser details when the fonts are requested.
How we use information
- To respond to your questions and requests, including product walkthroughs, sandbox access, and labor inquiries.
- To follow up about the product or service you asked about.
- To keep the website secure and working.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
If you ask about labor or staffing services, we may share your inquiry with our affiliate, United Entertainment Solutions, Inc., so the right team can respond.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only:
- With service providers that run the site and store form submissions on our behalf (Cloudflare for hosting, DNS and email routing; Supabase for database storage; Google Fonts for font delivery; Resend for email delivery), under terms that limit their use of the data.
- With our affiliate United Entertainment Solutions, Inc., as described above.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Obstin, our users, or others.
- As part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case the information would remain subject to this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form submissions and correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a business relationship, for up to two years, unless we need to keep them longer for legal reasons or you ask us to delete them sooner.
Security
Form submissions are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, and are stored in a database with access restricted to authorized staff on a least-privilege basis. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or give you a copy. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to restrict or object to certain processing. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with privacy laws may have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising; we do not sell or share personal information for those purposes and do not engage in targeted advertising. Because we do not use tracking cookies, there is nothing for a browser "Do Not Track" signal to turn off.
To make a request, email hello@obstin.co with the subject "Privacy request." We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time the applicable law requires, generally 45 days. You may authorize an agent to make a request for you; we will ask for proof of that authorization. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response. Marketing email from Obstin includes an unsubscribe link. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Where data is stored
Obstin is based in the United States, and our providers store data in U.S. data centers. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
Links to other sites
This site links to other websites, including tinds.co, gantline.co, marquee-app.com, littlemulegames.com, and ueslabor.com. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
